It’s National Apprenticeship Week 2026 – a time to celebrate learning, development and the people who are shaping the future of our industry. At TPS360, Apprenticeship Week is more than a calendar event – it reflects our long-term commitment to investing in people, skills and careers across our sector.
We believe lifelong learning is essential. No matter what role someone holds or how long they’ve been in the industry, there is always more to learn and new ways to develop professionally.
Apprenticeships play a vital role in strengthening our industry. We actively recruit apprentices to give young people their first step into a rewarding career within the flooring industry. By combining hands-on experience with structured learning, apprentices gain practical skills, industry knowledge and confidence from day one.
Equally important is the development of our existing workforce. Upskilling our team ensures everyone remains trained to the highest standards and keeps pace with the latest regulations, techniques and innovations in our sector. Investing in training benefits our staff, our clients and the quality of work we deliver.
Sam Barclay, our SHEQ Director said:
“Apprenticeships are vital to the future of our industry. They allow us to develop skilled, knowledgeable professionals while passing on the highest standards of safety, quality and best practice.
At TPS360, we’re proud to support both new apprentices and existing staff through continuous training and development, ensuring our teams are equipped to meet the evolving demands of the construction and flooring sectors.”
Over the past year alone, our team has completed a wide range of qualifications and accredited training programmes. These include essential health and safety certifications such as Asbestos Awareness, Forklift Operation and First Aid, alongside nationally recognised construction qualifications.
Recent achievements include:
These accomplishments highlight our focus on developing skills at every level of the business – from apprentices starting out to experienced leaders advancing their expertise.
As part of Apprenticeship Week 2026, we are proud to celebrate the success of our apprentices who recently graduated at the FeRFA Awards. A huge congratulations goes to Jac Facey, Tom Hickey, Garin Hancock and Cole Rees.
Seeing our apprentices take to the stage was a fantastic moment and a true reflection of their hard work, commitment and dedication. Their success also demonstrates the strength of TPS360’s training and development programmes and the value of apprenticeships in bringing new talent into the industry.
With even more apprentices joining the TPS360 team this month – recruiting, training and supporting apprentices remains high on our agenda. Apprenticeships are essential to building a skilled, knowledgeable and sustainable workforce for the future of construction in Wales.
This Apprenticeship Week 2026, we are proud to recognise our apprentices, celebrate our team’s achievements and reaffirm our commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
Here is a selection of projects that we have completed in a number of different industry sectors. They demonstrate the expertise and professionalism that we bring to find a solution to each challenge.
