At TPS360, we’re proud industry leaders when it comes to protecting your surfaces. Using our expertise to guide you through the process, we’ll make sure you get the very best industrial flooring that your facility needs.

We are in the unique position of being one of only 14 licensed applicators of Ucrete flooring in the UK and the sole licensee in Wales. Ucrete has an unrivalled track record of extreme performance and durability.

What is Ucrete?

Ucrete industrial flooring is a robust, high-performance polyurethane concrete floor finish designed for extreme industrial environments, offering high durability, chemical resistance, and tolerance to high temperatures. What’s more, the Ucrete family of heavy-duty resin systems has now been a leading choice of resin flooring for fifty years and they are widely used in food and beverage industries, pharmaceutical factories, and chemical processing plants.

Ucrete is ideal for environments demanding stringent hygienic standards, making it an excellent choice for the food and beverage industry. It ensures a clean and safe production environment and it also offers good slip resistance even in wet and greasy conditions, making it a safe choice where spillage is a common concern.

However, apart from food and beverage, Ucrete’s superior resistance to extreme conditions makes it suitable for nearly any industrial setting. It is extremely durable and its dense and impervious characteristics can withstand heavy traffic, harsh chemicals and fluctuating temperatures much better than a simple concrete surface.

Since it was first patented fifty years ago, Ucrete has partnered with the industry’s best specialist installers to provide the highest level of quality and professionalism for clients. The ‘Ucrete Approved Applicator Network’ represents a selected group of contractors who are fully trained to deliver the best flooring solutions in line with modern, industrial new build and refurbishment requirements. To get the best floor possible with a professional installation it is necessary to use a fully trained Ucrete Approved Applicator.

The good news for South Wales and Midlands facilities managers is that TPS360 are an approved Ucrete applicator!

If you choose a Ucrete flooring solution you can be sure of one thing — it’s going to last for a long time! But what are the other benefits you can expect from this kind of industrial flooring?

1. Ucrete can stand up to aggressive cleaning techniques – it can be exposed to severe daily cleaning techniques, including live steam, hot water, aggressive detergents and disinfectants. There is no de-lamination, no cracking and no softening due to thermally induced stresses. This makes it a perfect choice for cooking areas and wash bays.

2. Ucrete offers protection from thermal shock – it is unaffected by freeze/thaw cycles and withstands extreme ranges, from 200 degrees below zero up to 150°C. Ucrete is, therefore, an ideal flooring solution for low-temperature environments such as freezers and cold storage.

3. Ucrete is resistant to a broad range of chemicals, increasing its usability across various industries. It can resist damage from caustics, organic and inorganic acids, solvents and most other commonly used chemicals, ensuring longevity and safety in harsh conditions. Even aggressive or corrosive liquids widely used in industry, such as hydrochloric acid, which would corrode concrete, will not affect Ucrete as it is designed to resist strong acids, protecting the concrete and ensuring containment.

4. Ucrete absorbs direct impact blows by distributing the loads throughout the system making it resistant to heavy impacts that can occur in heavy industry or in a warehouse where things fall from height. With Ucrete, there is simply no cracking or debonding. It’s designed for the toughest industrial environments and it has a high energy absorption capacity of about 12 times that of a 50 newton concrete.

5. Ucrete resists the growth of bacteria and fungi –  independent laboratory tests confirm that it will not support the growth of E. coli or salmonella bacteria. For the pharmaceutical industry, maintaining a contamination-free environment is crucial and Ucrete’s seamless surface (with no grout joints to crack or harbour dirt or bacteria) helps maintain a sterile environment.

Being Approved Ucrete Applicators is aligned with our mission at TPS360 to become the ultimate authority in industrial and commercial flooring. This distinction sets us apart in the competitive industry of specialised flooring solutions.
