High Build Epoxy Resin Coating

Remmers Epoxy BS 3000 is a high quality, water-based, pigmented, silk-gloss sealant that can be subject to a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions. It has excellent abrasion resistance and good chemical resistance properties and is ideal for manufacturing and production environments.

For this project, we mechanically prepared the floor using dust free HTC vacuum enclosed diamond grinders and dust extractors to remove all existing floor coatings and any other laitance. Dust collection is a crucial part of the grinding process, from the health point-of-view but also to prevent surrounding areas being filled with dust.

Considerations

Temperature of the material, air and substrate: from min. +8 °C to max. +30 °C. During the curing process, the applied material was protected from moisture which could impair the surface and impair the adhesion.
