Field Sales Manager required

An excellent and exciting opportunity has emerged with TPS360 for a Field Sales Manager.

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will be based in the area from Bristol to Reading enabling easy links to the head office near Cardiff, South Wales whilst enabling the business to build a stronger presence along the M4 corridor, London and the South Coast.

This role will require a strong communicator who is effective in building relationships with key influencers in order to maintain long term strategic partnerships.

 The Job – Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the company sales strategy
  •  Manage yourself and others to meet company sales targets
  • Monitor and manage progress of site works to meet budget targets and deadlines
  • Travel to clients or potential clients premises on a regular basis
  • Maintain effective relations with client base an resolve customer enquiries and queries quickly and effectively
  • Deliver basic product demonstration and information
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Conduct competitor research and analysis
  • Research, develop and deliver customer account proposals and agreements
  • Other duties as required

  • Knowledge of undertaking or commissioning market research
  • Understanding of statistical techniques
  • Knowledge or experience of business performance measurement & reporting
  • Financial & commercial awareness
  • Customer Service qualification – NVQ or equivalent
  • Product knowledge and understanding of engineering and construction industry
  • Demonstrable experience of effectively managing others (internal and external customers)
  • Capability and aspiration to progress within the business

To demonstrate our continued commitment to improving Health and Safety, we are pleased to announce that we have been successful in achieving the Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) Accreditation once again this year. 

The aim of the Scheme is to improve health and safety standards across the construction industry and to reduce some of the inevitable duplication that exists when completing tender and pre-qualification applications.

Being CHAS accredited means that we have achieved nationally recognised benchmarks of acceptable health & safety standards.
