TPS360 FeRFA Apprentice Group Resin 10

TPS360’s Ian Shannahan has today completed his final day of training with FeRFA Group Resin 10. Module 14-Flowable Screeds has been held over 2 days at the Instarmac training centre in Tamworth. Yesterday they were taught about types of flowable screeds, how they should be layed and to what thickness, different types of pump machines to apply the screeds and checking substrates for moisture. The quote of the day from the tutor was “why hump it, pump it”

Day 2 was all about practical. the students were taught how to set up and safety check pump screed machines, mixing sl screed and laying it, they were shown how to lay and how not to lay.

Ian has throughly enjoyed the experience and is looking forward to his final assessment in June
